Swoop is an app for swapping homes with other members around the world. No rent changes hands: you offer your place, they offer theirs, and you agree the dates between you.

How it works

  1. List your home

    Add photos, the rooms, house rules and the dates you could be away. Other members see roughly where it is, never your address.

  2. Swipe on homes

    Browse homes in the places you want to go. Swipe left to skip, right to say you're interested.

  3. Chat when it's mutual

    If the owner says yes, a chat opens between you. Ask about the neighbourhood, the keys, the plants.

  4. Agree the dates

    Propose a swap in the chat. Once you both confirm, each of you gets the other's exact address.

Built around where you live

  • Your address stays private. Listings show an area within about a kilometre. The exact address is shared only with the member you've confirmed a swap with.
  • Every host verifies a phone number before their home goes live.
  • Report or block anyone, from any chat.
  • No ads, no ad tracking. We don't sell your data.

Browsing is free. Saying you're interested in a home needs a Swoop Plus subscription; answering someone who's interested in yours is free. You can cancel at any time: here's how.
